Compare the Dungeons & Dragons D20 Circle Pin 003 and the Pinfinity Blue Mana Symbol Pin 004 on design, licensing, and everyday wear so you can pick the right gaming pin.
Quick answer
Choose the Pinfinity Blue Mana Symbol Pin 004 if you want an officially licensed Magic: The Gathering pin with a bold, recognizable symbol. Choose the Dungeons & Dragons D20 Circle Pin 003 if you prefer a subtler circular design centered on the classic twenty-sided die.
Design and franchise fit
The Blue Mana Symbol Pin displays the iconic blue mana symbol from Magic: The Gathering and is officially licensed by Wizards of the Coast. That makes it a direct match for MTG players and collectors who want their pin to read clearly as Magic.
The D20 Circle Pin uses a clean, circular layout built around the classic twenty-sided die. It is a Dungeons & Dragons accessory, so it signals tabletop RPG fandom without relying on a specific spell or color identity.
Where each pin works best
Both pins are designed as wearable accessories for jackets, bags, hats, or lanyards. The difference is how much attention you want the pin to draw. The mana symbol is a strong visual statement for MTG fans, while the D20 circle is more understated and easier to pair with everyday outfits.
If you are accessorizing a dedicated gaming bag or dice bag, the D20 motif ties naturally to tabletop play. If you are decorating an MTG backpack or jacket, the mana symbol does the identifying work for you.
Licensing and collectibility
The Blue Mana Symbol Pin is part of the Pinfinity collection from Ultra PRO International and is officially licensed by Wizards of the Coast. That licensing matters if you want a pin that is verifiably tied to the Magic brand.
The D20 Circle Pin is part of the Dungeons & Dragons line and carries the D20 motif as its central design. The supplied catalog does not state a licensing claim for this pin, so treat that as an open question if official licensing is a priority for you.
Trade-offs to weigh
- Brand specificity vs everyday subtlety: The Blue Mana Symbol Pin is unmistakably Magic: The Gathering, which is great for MTG events but less neutral for daily wear. The D20 Circle Pin is a quieter nod to tabletop RPGs that fits more settings. Pick based on how loudly you want your fandom to read.
- Licensing confidence vs open question: The Blue Mana Symbol Pin is officially licensed by Wizards of the Coast. The supplied catalog does not state a licensing claim for the D20 Circle Pin, so if official licensing matters to you, verify before buying. Confirm licensing details for the D20 pin if that is a dealbreaker.
- Gift fit for the recipient's game: Match the pin to the game the recipient actually plays. An MTG player will recognize the mana symbol instantly; a D&D player will connect with the D20 circle. Buying across games risks a pin that never gets worn. Ask which game they play before choosing.
